Beading

When I was nine, my mom gave me a beading kit and a gift certificate for the bead store for Christmas.  The first time I stepped into a bead store, I was in heaven!  The variety of types and styles of beads and the jewelry you can create out of them is infinite.  Over the years, I've experimented with just about every beading technique and I'd love to share what I know so that you too can make beautiful jewelry to wear or give as gifts!


CLASSES

GENERAL INFO
  • All materials, supplies and tools are provided.  Material fees will vary per class and will be based on actual material costs.  
  • There must be at least 3 registered students for any class to take place and a maximum of 10 students will be accepted into any beading class.  
  • Class specifics - including material costs, picture(s) and a description of the project(s) - will be announced two weeks prior to class on Facebook and via email.
  • All fees are due at least 24 hours prior to the class.  Payments received less than 24 hours prior to the class will be subject to a $5 late registration fee.
  • A punch card good for 5 classes may be purchased for $48 (20% discount off per class fee - does not include materials)
  • First time students get 50% off class fess for their first class!


BEADING BASICS - $15 class fee plus material fees (vary per class)
Offered every other week
Each week, we’ll focus on a different project.  You will learn the basics of beads, stringing, working with wire, etc. in a fun and creative environment! You will walk away with at least one finished piece of jewelry designed and made by you! (Beginning to intermediate levels)

FUN WITH FEATHERS! - $15 class fee plus material fees (vary per class)
Offered once per month
Feathers are so hot right now!  They are also super easy to make beautiful jewelry and hair clips with!  Each class we'll get creative and make beautiful and unique items that are right in step with the current trend.  (Beginning to intermediate levels) 

EAR CANDY - $15 class fee plus material fees (vary per class)
Offered once per month
It’s easy to stay on top of the latest trends in earrings when you can make your own!  Each week we’ll make two pairs of earrings focused on a specific technique and style - hoops, feathers, drops, chandeliers and more!  You get to choose the colors and materials and I’ll show you how to make them into earrings you’ll be proud to wear or give as a gift.  (Beginning to intermediate levels)

BRACELETS 101 - $15 class fee plus material fees (vary per class)
Offered once per month
No outfit is complete without a bracelet (or 12) and they are so fun and easy to make!  Join me weekly as I teach you the how to make bracelets with clasps, stretchy bracelets, coil bracelets, woven bracelets and everything in between.  You’ll walk away each week with a new, uniquely beautiful custom bracelet made by you! (Beginning to intermediate levels)

JEWELRY MAKEOVER - $15 class fee plus material fees (vary per class)
Offered once per month
What do you do with the jewelry you don’t wear any more?  You make something new to wear instead!  Make that necklace that “just isn’t your style anymore” into a bracelet and earrings!  Did you lose one of your favorite earrings?  Make the one you have left into a pendant or hair clip!  You bring your old jewelry and I’ll help you make something new you’ll actually wear.  Additional supplies and materials will be available to purchase to add to your pieces so you can make something completely new and one-of-a-kind. (Beginning to intermediate levels)
